An email from a guest about our World Trade Center tour

"Dear Jared,

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with you 2 1/2 weeks ago ...  Thank you!

Kind regards, R------"

November 15th 2016.

We saw the World Trade Center and its 9/11 Memorial.  We covered the history from the Rockefeller's vision through the newest dramatic buildings.  We also experienced St Paul's Chapel, the Survivor Church.  We covered 250 years of history.

From a Tour Operator

"Jared (NYC) – you did an incredible job in spite of the rain and traffic!  We would have never seen the 9/11 Memorial so thoroughly on our own."

Message from Adult Educational Tour company

"We love having you on our programs! Thank you for all the good work you do for us!"

What an honor, from a premier adult educational tour provider for their NYC walking tours for their cruise groups.

I developed a tour for them of the World Trade Center and its National 9/11 Memorial, and area architecture, including the Oculus, St Paul's Chapel, the Woolworth Building, New York City Hall, the Brooklyn Bridge, and St Peter's Church.  We see NYC architecture ranging from 250 years ago to the present.

We run this tour a few times a year for the past few years.

Text from a GL Group Leader

I love autumn's adult Cruise ships NYC tours.

I have a great relationship with their GLs Group Leaders.  This text was about my bi-annual tour of the World Trade Center, it's National 9/11 Memorial, and local architecture, including the Fulton Transit Center, St Paul's Chapel, the Oculus, and the Brooklyn Bridge.  NYC Architecture from 1766 to 2016.

Without further ado:

"Thank you for an excellent tour. You received many compliments. Hope to work with you again."

Email raving about a family's Lower Manhattan Tour.

Dear Jared,
I just want to thank you so much for a wonderful day.  Everyone in our group had a really great time & we saw things we never knew existed and things we had always wanted to see.  Really appreciate all your knowledge AND your humor!  Thanks again & hope we can book you as our guide again.

_, _, _, _ & the kids

We saw views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Fraunces Tavern, Stone Street, Bowling Green, the Charging Bull, the site where George Washington's Presidential mansion was, Hamilton's tomb, (this was an unofficial Hamilton's NYC Tour), Trinity Church, Wall Street, Federal Hall, the NY Stock Exchange, the World Trade Center, and the 9/11 Memorial.

We went to the Meatpacking District, the Highline, and Chelsea Market on one day.  On another day we experienced The Empire State Building, Grand Central Terminal, Chinatown, Rockefeller Center, Little Italy, the 9/11 Memorial, Washington Square Arch, the Brooklyn Bridge, Times Square,  and the South Street Seaport.  We customized our NYC tour with a focus on art, architecture, walking, subways, and using a driver.

Review for a Lower Manhattan tour I did for a Tour Operator

Sometimes I lead walking tours for commercial walking tour companies.  Here is a five out of five star review I inspired for them over at TripAdvisor.

“Jared is an excellent tour guide!”

We have done a half dozen or more walking tours in NYC - enjoyed them all to some degree - and the Wall Street Walk with Jared was one of the best. Unlike all the others we've experienced, this company provided personal receivers so that everyone could hear the guide while he was walking, which gave him much more opportunity to point out interesting places and facts. Jared was well worth listening to - highly recommended!

Christmas in Summer!  Time for a Santa Claus tour is coming soon.

It is still Summer for another day or so, but at Kmart on Astor Place in the East Village, it is Christmas season already as of September 20th 2016.

Which means that Santa Claus' New York City History Tour season is coming.  Santa Claus' birthday, St Nicholas Day, is December 6th.  NYC is the birthplace of Santa Claus and most of his legends, so this is a great place for a private customized Santa NYC History tour, by foot and subway, or with a driver.
