"We enjoyed working with you yesterday. We received positive feedback
From the group as they were travelling to go shopping at Woodbury Common. They were happy with Your services."
We had a narrated NYC tour going through Midtown to Downtown to Lower Manhattan. Along the way we saw the Intrepid, behind which the Miracle on the Hudson took place.
The highlight was a group visit to the Statue of Liberty. It was a delightful group from the Philippines. The Tour Operator has been in business for 39 years!

"Well worth the money!....the locals that were taking the tours with us said they had never been to most of those places, so that was really cool.
The Heritage Tour was ... very good. The tour guide Jared Goldstein was very knowledgeable about the different cultures in the city and their varied histories. We were able to try many different foods and visited a local market. Again, I like music history, so it was nice that Jared threw in some punk music history :) We ended with Chinatown and Little Italy, where we ended up staying and having a great lunch for cheap!
I would highly recommend ... the Heritage tour was much more informational and spanned all of New York's history. Awesome experience!"

An amazing glimpse of NY's Lower East Side...
We booked a tour with Ja[red] Goldstein of [former client name redacted]. It was a fantastic glimpse into the lives of the Jewish, Italian and Chinese immigrants living in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. We walked and talked for almost three hours and stopped in many restaurants and stores for mini-visits and refreshments along the way. Jared pointed out lots of interesting places and shared many "inside" stories; he also shared additional suggestions if we wanted to extend the tour on our own. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in the history of NYC whether they are native New Yorkers, or not!
Here's a review that's funny to me, and instructive. It is five stars, but...

Great tour... with a lot of information and great guide...
I did 2 tours with [former client name redacted]. The first was the heritage tour on Lower East Side. It was a great tour with Jared Goldstein. He knew a lot about the history of LES and talked on and on constantly for 3.5 hours. It was a great tour, because it was a small group of 3. He took us to Katz Deli, some old knish shop, Economy Candy and a lot of other stores that I don't recall their names. He talked about the history about the development of the LES, Little Italy and Chinatown. It was a good experience. .....I wouldn't hesitate recommending [him]. Jared Goldstein is phenomenal in the amount of knowledge he knows and his ability to tell stories for so long."
I hope that since 2011, that I've learned to breath more and let things sink in more!

private tour in Harlem
it happened that I was the only one on the tour to Harlem and Jared was my guide on that walking tour that sunny day! He was very informative and fun about so many things which are hidden from a regular tourist! We visited a baptist church on Sunday and I enjoyed the mess and gospel singing. Then we had a walk around the district and I've got many curious explanation from Jared.
It seems Harlem became closer now that it used to be before.
Thank you!

Jared made Harlem great for our teenager.
Absolutely loved our Harlem tour with Jared. We booked on a Thursday in November, and our family of 3 ended up with a private tour. Jared immediately identified our interests and customized the tour for us. Our son, who just turned 15 and has started playing in the jazz band at school, got to hear all about Harlem's music greats and history. I love architecture, and Jared found side streets that illustrated a variety of housing trends thru the years. Jared loves New York and is a treasure of information about the city. I picked his brain endlessly, and he even sent us more info about jazz clubs later. Thanks [redacted] and Jared!

A beloved Tour Operator from suburban Boston who brings me delightful tourists to New York City had this to say: Our travelers were lucky
to have had you guide them, and for any future NYC tours you're our first
contact for sure :)
The guests they connected to me was a culture focused group of mature adults who experience the world. They came to New York City for theater and sightseeing. I helped as Tour Manager, efficiently navigating NYC, attractions, and reservations, and as New York Tourist Guide.
